Topic: What is the Cajun Navy? What technology do they use? How can this type of organization be integrated into EM?
Students will do a short paper addressing the above questions. The response paper must be supported by research and cited in APA format.
The paper will be at least 4 pages, double-spaced, in Times New Roman 12-point font with 1-inch margins. The page count does NOT include the title page, abstract, or bibliography.
The paper will be formatted and cited using the APA format.
The paper will be in response to the specific question presented by the instructor. paper must completely answer the question, and responses must be supported by research and citation.
Under no circumstances should you be using Wikipedia or similar websites as a reference for your papers. This includes any website that allows for community editing of information (a wiki). However, you may visit Wikipedia, etc. to find other primary source information.
The grading rubric for this assignment is as follows: (incl. percentage of the grade)
- The paper is the correct length and APA format is used (10% of grade)
- The paper contains a well-written and informative discussion of the presented question. (30% of grade).
- The arguments and/or responses to the writing prompt are supported by research and citations. (30% of grade)
- The paper is written well, including style, voice, grammar, etc. (25% of grade)
